knocking at startup

Is it bad if there's detonation at startup when the engine is at operating temp? It does not knock at any other time. What could make this happen? Gracias.

It sounds like piston slap. It's not uncommon and the best thing is just to live with it. I had a 350 that did it and it ran for about 500,000 kms before I sold it!
