Having Problems..

Lately my carb has been giving me headache after headache, and according to my mechanic, he feels that it is finally time to put this carb to rest.

So does anyone have any recommendations for new carbs or any ideas or anything at all for me?

I've got a '84 Firebird with the 2.8L V6 engine, and the Carb was a 2bbl Rochester E2SE.

I'm looking for something to do the job, without costing me a fortune.

Thanks guys!

The only thing I can think of is an Edelbrock 500cfm. Or I think they make a 390 cfm mainly for twin carb applications. Give them a call or check out their website, www. edelbrock.com, and they should be able to help.

Mods include a 4bolt 350 with 280*, .460 lift cam, Vortec heads, Comp Cams roller tip rockers, Edelbrock TES headers, no other exhaust . Also, rusted parts on all 4 corners, and crumpled fenders, thanks to the previous owner.

Maybe you need a new mechanic...Just kiddin'.
How about a new or remanufactured
stock carb. What a concept! While you're there , (Crappy Tire parts counter) get a new fuel filter. Good Luck )
