ok heres the deal my choke light does not come on any more, every once in a while it does and the car will run and idle nice, but when it doesn't it idles at 1800 and take 6 min. to shut off. I've been trying to find a new carb for cheap, like $75, I just got out bid on ebay by one stupid dollar, sorry just venting. I posted before and you guys said my carb bushings were toast and to just buy a new one, being that this problem only happens part of the time and the rest my car is great could it possible be just the electric choke, if so can I replace it. I was bidding on ebay again but all the rochester carbs that will work for me look like crap compared to mine. any advise would be great cause the high idle is affecting my breaking performance, its getting bad. tai
