* which rods and hangers should I use? *

well, as the subject says: which rods and hangers should I use??
car in sig.

I've seen people using CK, DR rods and B, and other hangers ,so what is the difference between them, and how do I know which ones to get?

Thanks for any help! :lala:

P.S.
(I want to try and change them tomarrow, since it's the only time I have off for a while, so any tips on doing the job would also be greatly appreciated!)

Go to the Tech Articles and look up the one on tuning a QJet. It is very comprehensive.

I checked the archives before making this post, they don't tell wich rods to use for each application. Just wondering if anyone has any info on which ones to use

I have the CK and B hangger cause thats what Summit sells. The DR rods seem to be the most popular(around here), so I'm guessing that it feeds more fuel a little sooner as the rod raises up. You should also adjust the spring tension on the secondary AV flap. My vette has the non-computer carb and uses the same rods and hanggers. Right now the AV flap is too loose so I'm getting bog when I get on it.

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
I'm using a set of DR rods and an "N" hanger on my SC; only reason for using the "N", is 'cuz I had it on hand and haven't found anything better yet...
