TPS sensor on cc quadrajet?

I have to change the TPS sensor on my brother's '84 Impala(305-cc quadrajet). Is there an adjustment when I install the new one or is it plug and play with these cc quadrajet carbs.Any help much appreciated!

I asked this same question a year ago and Ed did a great job of answering it.

Luckily I've replaced it twice and it was in spec just by changing it and I did not have to adjust it.

If you don't get a code you *might* be ok.

Here's the link ((it's still here after a year!):
