Hot cam vacuum ?
Those of you running an lt4 hot cam, what kind of vacuum are you seeing at idle and what is the best idle speed you can acheive?
I'm just curious as to how this cam matches up to a stock cam at idle.

I have a zz430 with the hot cam and A holley 750 VS. It will idle just fine at 750 rpm. and pull about 11 inches of vacuum No problems with power brakes. It is A great Cam, An ultimate sleeper.

Thanks Austin, I'm going to be using the hot cam kit in a 350vortec with tbi and I just wanted to know where I stand with the vacuum so I can figure out how to get this thing to idle smoothly. I've got an idea to fool the map sensor to think it will be getting the usual 18 to 20" of vac. I hope it works out.
