emissions yuck!!!!

i just recently installed an aluminum intake and edelbrock carb. I had to go withe the intake with an egr provision due to emmisions but when i try to install the egr valve with the carb there is no room for the egr valve, it hits on the carb... anybody with any suggestions????? either an adapter or a smaller diaghram egr valve part # thanx

I'm a little surprised you need an EGR but don't have to have the CC carb.

I don't have an answer for you, although a carb spacer may help. Alternative would be using a q-jet - we know it will clear.

i havent had them look for anything except egr valve, air pump and converter that s all they have ever looked for. most of the people who run the tests couldnt tell you the difference between a cc carb an a non cc carb:lala:

Edelbrock website says that you need to use P/N 1476 egr spacer.

I just re-read your post. I would assume that the spacer would work on the holley manifold. But you know what happens when you assume some thing.
