What exactly is not opening? the secondary throttle blades
or the air valve?

You probabily got this carb used at a real good price right?

Sounds like somehow the linkage got messed with, removed
or bent.

Maybe you could find someone who also has this carb and look
see how the linkage works on their's and see what's messed
up on your's. Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

the carb came with the motor it was only 2 weeks old like 2 years ago. anyways i fixed it, i took off the pin that connects the 2 linkages and i squeezed it alittle more together with pliers to create more tention and it worked. it hit me by suprise it almost sucked my face in. thanx anyways

someone correct me if lm wrong, or feel free to add additional information, but normally with vacuum secondaries, (which lm not sure weather or not you have) when the cars not under load and you give it full throttle the secondaries dont open. unless you've driven around and the car at wot feels extremely slow, your secondaries are probably opening under load. you should find out weather or not its vaccuum or not, and reply back.
