k&n open element

I just bought a K&N open Element air filter. I have an 86 Firebird with a 350. Will I have to richen the mixture because I switched from a paper filter to a K&N filter? If anybody knows please let me know.

i dont believe so. ive never heard of anyone making the mixture richer because of a k&n...

CCC Quadrajet?

If you still have the factory Quadrajet, it should make the change (if any) for you.
