A ZZ4 is simply a 350 with moderate compression, fairly good heads and a mild cam. Nothing special about that as far as the carb goes, nothing different from any other similar 350, except that it does specifically have a dual-pattern (spreadbore & square) dual-plane intake.

I've had great success over the years with the Holley 6210 on real mild 350s like the ZZ4. It's a 650 CFM spreadbore. I would not put a cheapie like a 1850 on it. Personally I detest Carter (Edelbrock) carbs, but others like them. The Road Demon looks like it was designed for that motor though I've never used one. And of course, a good Q-Jet (not some junkyard 70s - 80s smog piece of crap) would be a good choice too; Edelbrock does offer some new ones of those that would be a good match. Unless you enjoy making people at oil companies happy or don't plan on putting many miles on the car I would not recommend a 750 Holley like the typical 3310 or 477x series.
