Brake booster to carb?

Alright, forget about the egr, how about the power brake booster hose, it was hooked into the back of my q-jet. Where the heck does this go on the Holley? Man, holley's instruction sheet sucks and i think they didn't send a couple pages. Does the brake hose go to full vacuum or what?

It goes to a full manifold vacuum source. Traditionally to the fitting in the manifold behind the carb...but as I recall Edelcrock puts that in the wrong spot too. They sell low-profile fittings so it'll still clear.

Yeah, but on the Holley it should have the 3/8 fitting on the lower side of the carb which you should be able to tap into if needed. Why not just get a new T and replace the old one behind the carb on the intake?

yeah, that makes sense, i'll have to rig something up as there are already two other lines going into that fitting, but at least i don't have to come all the way around to the front of the carb.
