Anywhere to get an assortment of squirters for them, sorta like a the jet assormtent, or pump cam assortment. I'm quite certain i'm going to need a lil more pump cam and a bigger squirter.


Anyone know of retailers that sell em, or the parts rags?

 

Jeg's part # 510-36-184 full accelerator pump tuning kit. $99

 

Most local parts places will stock pump cam sets for around $10. Play with those first, see if you can get it to improve. Check the pump arm lash to be sure you didn't gain any play between cams.

Squirters can be bought through Jegs or summit one at a time for around $9 each I think it is. I can find ya the part number later if you need it. A .031 or .035 should be about right for your motor at a guess.

What I did was go to a hobby store and buy a set of jewlers drill bits and a pin vise. I can drill out my nozzles in pretty small increments in about 2 minutes each till I get it where I want it. Cost about $30...but I think I saved in the long run.

Jestaman, i think the squirter in mine now is either a .025 or a.027

Stevie's is about the same, and his i pretty soft off the line.. that snap open with the cheaters it jsut bogs/hesitates for a second..
