carb. compatability question
carb. compatability question
will a CC-quad, tuned properly with all the performance mods be capable of feeding a mildly built 412 sbc. probably around 450 H.P.
I would like to keep the computer stuff to avoid the hassles of changing the dist. and the torque lock-up. if the carb won't hinder performance too much, that is.

I can't say from experience. But, there are a couple of articles in the Magazine Articles section of this board by Steve Green with "Stroke in the Desert" in the title. He built a 383 and used the CC q-jet. He had his rebuilt by Jet Performance, used a chip they provided, and seemed pleased with the results.
You might give Jet a call and find out what they think. The cam would be a big key, I'd think.
