Carburater vs TPI
It really depends on the application. If it's for a daily driver then TPI would be more reliable. If it is just a toy, then I'd say the Carb would be better. It is easier to tune and you don't have all the wires and sensors and junk you don't really need. I put a carb on my IROC b/c it's my toy. My daily driver RS and S-10 keep the fuel injection so I know pretty much that they will start when I jump in on a cold day.

as far as perfornmance? carb hands down. im sure once jester gets in here he'll lay down all the details. prety much, carbs respond much better to mods and are easier to maintain, easier to adjust, can make power in the upper rpms where TPI cannot , and can create more overall power easier than TPI can.
which is a better setup though, TPI or EFI? I would think EFI, only because the GNs had it. Could you swap out your TPI for a GN EFI? Are they the same thing though? Just different names for different companies?
