vaccum hoses

ok guys, i need some help, i have an 87 iroc with a 305 carb,
if ur staring at the engine from the fornt of the car, its seems like it seems like it connects to the thermostadt housing, u know on the top of it the little connector, then it runs to the left side to the back to the firewall, i cant figure out where it broke off from, so any help is greatly appreciated, thanks dan

That was supposedly a Federal (non-California) Camaro 305.

What you are describing might be the TVS for the EFE system. There is a vacuum actuator at the outlet of the right exhaust manifold for the heat riser (EFE system). With no vacuum connected, it should be 100% open.
