Important! Need 1206 capable DP

Greetings, fella's. I'm building a 383 around a set of Victor Jr. heads. 215 cc runners. Building for massive torque. Peak power at 6000 revs. Is there a dual plane manifold capable of being opened up to match a 1206 gasket. I love the stealth. Anyone know how much meat it's got?

Thanks

You shouldn't run a dual plane with that. Get a good single plane, like a Team G or Vic jr.

Glad you were around Jester. I would prefer to go with a single plane. Will the Team G or Vic Jr. fit under the stock hood? I'm running a 3000 stall converter so torque isn't a problem. Hood clearance is my only issue. I know there's been debate over dual planes clearing. How can I fit a single plane?

Get the "Nascar approved" Team G from summit, pn 7530..it's really short. The difference between that and the other 2 versions are the plenum is shorter. Thats what I have on my motor..but unfortunatly I don't have a stock hood so I can't guaruntee anything.

But it's short..if its any taller than the stealth was it's not by much.

Thanks Jester! I just looked it up on the Holley site. The front is basically the same height as the Stealth. The back is about the same height as the Performer RPM. 2000-8000. Perfect!

A Victor JR would also fit under the stock hood with a holley carb on top. I dont know if an air filter would fit too since I dont run one... lol
