??? About this Holley carb...

It is a 600 cfm Vacuum Secondary 4-barrel carb with electric choke. It says it has a Ford Automatic Kickdown lever. Does that mean it won't work on my car??

No it doesn't mean that, just don't use the kickdown.

You'll need to add a tab to hook your TV cable too though,
but that's true with any carb you get when you run a 700R-4.

I'd call the holly tech line to see if they had a bracket to bolt onto
the Holley throttle bracket for use with a 700-r4. It may not fit on the carb with the Ford lickdown linkage, however. The 700-r4
TV cable must be pulled at a specific rate as the throttle is opened. Too slow a rate can lead to tranny failure( fried clutches and/ or band).
