Question about warm up?

I have a question about when my car is warming up.
As my car is warming up, when it gets to about 120* and I
rev up the engine a little, I hear a rumbling and a pop in the exhaust. It doesn't last too long ,then it stops doing it.
Is this caused by the choke ,as it opens up, and its just adjusting itself?
Is there something i can do to fix this ?

Thanks

as a wild guess i'd say the choke is a lil rich, and it's loading up for aminute there.

eitehr try and lean the choke out, or don't worry. it's not hurtin anything.

Thanks for the suggestion .
I will open up the choke some more, and see if that takes care of it. I also noticed that i had the choke opened up a little before and now when you set the choke it closes all the way.
and I checked the thermostat, it is still in the same position,
This may be a stupid question , but could it be because of the colder weather?
Thanks

yes, the colder it is the 'tighter' the choke is.
