Getting a CCC to run richer...

I think my CCC is running a little lean, as when I pulled a head, my exhaust valves were very white. I have the CCC on the setup below for the trans am, and am clueless as to how to richen up the normal part of driving. I still have a bone stock ECU.

Sounds like it's running just like it should. No burnt valves, right?

I dont think there was any burnt valves, I dont know all that much about it, but my father saw the valves and just commented that it looked like it was running lean because of white exhaust valves. The valves looked fine, except the intakes were black, and the exhausts white. The intake valves had some carbon build up on the back of the valve, but I tried as best to scrub it off with a wire brush and kerosene before putting them back on. I had to pull the head due to a broken valve that mushroomed over at top, and managed to stay in the keepers. The plugs looked fine according to a chart. So it should run fine on a mild 350 (albeit one much more nasty than the LG4) with the stock ECU at part throttle/normal driving then, right?

Maybe, maybe not. Some say yes, but ever since I swapped my engine my car runs so lean at part throttle that it pings. I've been trying to get a hold of a different chip to try, but don't have one yet.

Have you adjusted anything? Does it do this in open loop, closed loop, or both?

It runs lean in both, but it pings more as it gets warmer. I say it runs lean because the oxygen sensor reads around 0.01V at part throttle, and from .4-.8 any other time. EGR has no effect on it. 93 octane gasoline helped a little, timing set at 6 degrees. The only thing I've touched on my carb besides the secondaries is the idle air bleed screw, but turning it doesn't seem to have any effect (I don't have a dwell meter but I'm pretty sure I left it at 7 turns out-I'll check that sometime). Another member of this board did the same swap as I did and had his carb rebuilt by JET and he gets the part throttle ping also. Right now the chip is pretty much the only thing I haven't messed with, and I still need to relocate my fuel pump.

Do you have the 350 knock sensor and esc module?
