carb spacer question

I have a tnt nitrous plate kit on my car now. Its 3/4in plate. I have no clearance to get to my nos jets. I was wondering if I put another 1/2 in space if it would hurt power or bottom end etc? any help here? I ran this setup on a diff intake and carb and did not have this problem.

Depends on what type of spacer you use.
For more info, you could try scrolling down half a page to read the thread with nearly exactly the same title.

I think that if you get a 4 holer, you should be fine. Depends on your setup, tho. Like Jester says, NEARLY every engine can benefit from a spacer.

four hole should increase throttle response, but the open spacer will help upper rpm power because of the larger plenum created.
