jet combos needed for spring HELP
Well,
this is for the motor in my sig. It's a 305, with a 2000 stall, 700R4, 3.27 gear, factory tires, crane .454/.454 cam
Wondering what jets to start out with upon initial start-up. It is a 3310 holley. I was also wondering if this has the metering plate in the back or a metering block? I saw the post by Kingtalon and wondered about my carb.
Last year I had my carb "tuned" by a performance shop and it ran worse than when i brought it to them(bought the carb brand new from summit). They jetted it very rich. Any thoughts?

Use a #70,71 or 72 primary jet.
The stock metering plate on a 3310 is a #21. It is equal to a #75 jet. If you have a secondary metering block use a #80 sec jet. Use a 6.5 power valve.
Your optimine jetting will be real close to this.
Real hot days with high humidity will want a little leaner jet.
Cold, clear, dry days will favour a bigger jet.
