jet up or down?

NEw to carbs here so be patient with my questions. I am running 76 in front and 86 in the back right now in my holley 750dp with a 31 squirter front and 32 in back. If I stab the throtle from an idle it will stuble almost shut off it seams like. If I bring it up to like 1200 rom then stab it it revs fine almost. I just switched form efi to carb so I am in my learning process. Any ideas?

I would bump the squirters up a bit...
Punching it from 1200, you have a far amount air velocity pulling fuel out of the boosters, while at idle you don't. During the transition from idle to WOT you need a sufficient amount of fuel to make up for the lean spot, or the time it takes for fuel to begin to flow out of the main metering system.
You’re probably running it little lean even at 1200 when dropping it, just not as noticeable unless you have an A/F gauge. (Nice carb tuning tool BTW)

Try a 37 or 42 to see if that helps any. If your shoot out black smoke then back it off little.
You might even think about a pump cam with more initial.

BTW: Most of the guys on here are running up into the 40's with DP. I've also noticed those running 50cc pumps usually get away with smaller squiters.
