Carburator Problems....

Ok my car keeps turning off after a while and im not sure what it can be. i thought it was the ignition coil so i bought a new one, then i bought a module that wasnt it either. so i bought a carb rebuilt kit and still turns off after a bit of driving it but, now it idles extremely high... need help on carb maybe i missed some vacuum lines or something or maybe i should play with this idle screw but i dont know where its at if some one can put a picture of it or help me with my idle problem it would be great.... i have a v6 2.8 2bbl stock carb plz help...?

What year are we talking about?

Most likely you have a loose connection somewhere in the circuit. I had an '80 Citation with the 2.8, and it would die if you went over a speed bump too fast. Never did find the problem, the car finally fell off around the engine at about 300k miles.
