Selling my 650 double pumper, how are demons?
I think I am selling the 650 double pumper I just picked up. I know it works fine and was just rebuilt, but I really really want a demon. Holleys just arent as visually appealing to me as demons. Here is a link if anybody is interested.

Anyways, how do you guys like Demon carbs? I was thinking about a 650 cfm electric choke, mechanical secondary speed demon. Any thoughts? Thanks,
Seth

i have been doing research for myself on the demons and came to the conclusion that they are holleys with stronger more durable parts and looks really clean. also flow more smoothly. did i mention it looks superb

1) The Holley he is selling is a spread-bore replacement, single inlet version, not the "standard" square-base Holley.
2) Demon does more testing and calibration than Holley, so the part is more likely to "work" when you take it out of the box (although you should still plan on some tuning).
I just swapped my Holley 750 Double Pumper for a Road Demon 625. Can you say night and day difference. I know the 750 was a bit much for my 355, but the Demon idles better and has a choke to boot!

sometimes demons can be damn near impossible to tune, that is just something ive learned from my experience, id get a new holley, they arent as pretty, but they are probably the best carb around.

I have been helping a buddy tune his demon and it is a nightmare. This thing is a pain in the ***. Everyone around my area is a true blue holley fan and the tricks that work on a holley won't work on the demon. We have got the carb close to being perfect. I really can't say anything negitive about the demon carbs expect they can be a pain to tune. But this is just my $.02
