? about air pump

I have a lg4 with the single snorkle air cleaner . I have been trying to decide were to go with it to get more air (dual snorkle , open element ,...). I cranked it up awhile ago and let it run for a while , since I hadnt had time to mess with it because of the weather. I had an idea , and took off the top of the hose on the air pump and duh......... it had a good amount of air blowing through it. what i was wondering was. How much air difference do you think it woukd make if i ran a hose from the air pump and fabricate a place to hook it up to the air cleaner?
Thanks

It won't help. What would help is removing the pump entirely! Its just dead weight. Be sure to put the mounting bolts back in the block or you could get an oil leak there (they go all the way through).

You'll do much better with a fully ducted dual snorkel air cleaner than an open element. The ducted dual will draw cooler air from in front of the car instead of hot uunderhood air.

Hey Vader If I cant find a dual snorkle would getting to singles from a junkyard and make a dual, be a good idea , I know the true dual would have more flow. but i guess it would be better than what I have now.
