one last question

I'd like to set my fuel press. and check my system for leaks etc. before firing the engine but the electric fuel pump won't go unless there's oil press. It seems like I ought to be able to bypass the switch. Is it the switch located by the oil filter? Do I ground it?

Thanks once again

If it is the stock pump, use the relay to bypass the sensor (this will require some thought, as Im not sure where the relay is located or which leads to cross) a haynes or chiltons manual will give you this information. Just bypass it for enough time to ensure proper flow and pressure, then shut it off. You can do all the fine tuning later, when the engine is running.

It so happens there's an ALDL terminal for checking the fuel press
Thanks Berlinetta, for getting me to look at the manual.
