Stalling when i lay on gas
Stalling when i lay on gas
WEll i was wondering, when i hit the gas to the floor from like a 5-10mph start, i either get a bog or ill get a 1 second stall and then take off. How can i fix this? does it have something to do with the air/fuel mixture?

Make sure the accelerator pump cicuit is functioning properly,
that the passages & nozzles are clear/clean,
the linkage for the plunger is hooked up properly and adjusted to the best setting,
and that the plunger itself is in good shape. The rubber plungers only last between 3 and 5 years of everyday driving because the alcohol added to gasoline attacks the rubber. They are not expensive to replace.
You may want to double check your ignition system & timing curve as well because most carb problems turn out to be ignition problems.
Here's a pic of the accelerator pump linkage:
explaination of the parts is on the site listed below the pic.
