Rebuilt Q-jet - gurus needed

Rebuilt my q-jet and I have a question about the 2 little aluminum plugs that go in the Lean Mixture Control and Rich Mixture control holes. I would like to keep them out for a while so I can make adjustments as necessary. The documentation say that they will keep the vapors from escaping as well as keep people from tampering. My question is whether they sit down on the pins to also keep the settings from changing over time due to vibration? I'm not so worried about the vapor loss but I do want the settings to stay where I set them.

thoughts please,

phil

They do sometimes. But I wouldn't worry about it; the springs on those 2 things usually hold them quite securely.
