Well guys i have given up on trying to tune this carb. I had an old 2 barrel on it and this edelbrock 600 seems to be runngin worse. Does anyone no how i can get this properly adjusted? WIll the local shopp have a carb tuner and do those usually work dead on?

The most important thing is to make sure everything is perfectly clean including all air-bleed passages, and working correctly before you try to start tuning.

Hey man i have an edlebrock carb on my truck. It's a 500 cfm and i had problems tuning at firts to. So my dad ended up showing what was up and all he did was turned the screws all the way in and started from scrach. Then once he got it turned to where he wanted it he then played with the timming. Since then i havne't had a problem with it. But did you buy it new or used. Because when they come new from the factory there usually just ready to bolt right on. But buying a used one you never now.
