I hit '330 mark and car goes to an idle?!?!
any one have any idea what could cause this? I was thinking a float was out of adjustment and going dry ...when it happens I can push the gas all I want but nothing happens but if I let off it then floor it it takes off good. If it is a float how do I adjust it?

It's not the floats.
Most likely, it's fuel delivery.
Drive the car until it does it. When it does, and while it is doing it, immediately take the car out of gear, and turn the ignition off (OFF, not LOCK!!!!) and pull over to the side of the road and take out one of the lower bowl screws from each bowl, and see how much gas comes out. The goal is to preserve the carb's state of fuel fill at the moment of failure, by not letting it fill itself back up at idle. My guess is, you won't get much.
Could be a dirty fuel filter, bad fuel pump, crud in the pickup line in the gas tank, electric fuel pump in the tank needs to go away if it used to be a FI car, etc.
