With 408 cubes you sure don't want to run a factory Qjet or the factory computer.
To feed a 408 you'll need to completely upgrade your fuel system and use a performance carb of at least 750 CFM.
Well, that's assuming that you're planning to get significantly increased performance from your 408, and not just duplicating factory 400 performance.
A Carter or Holley carb fills the bill by being adequately adjustable and having large enough fuel bowls to feed a healthy 408.
I'm biased but I'd use an Edlebrock 750.

Just curious, but dosent the factory Q-jet flow 750 cfm.
And if you plan on keeping the computer then there's no aftermarket CC carb out there that I know of.
I think you could probably get that cc qjet tricked out to run more of a performance set up, but that is also a guess.
