i just picked up an 85 T/A it vibrates from 1500-2500 rpms but above that it's smooth. What can it be?????

 

Maybe it's just nervous! Does it do that in N or when your driving in gear? In N, bad cam or inconsistant compresion between cyl. or bad harmonic balancer. In D, wheel balance, bent rim, or bad drive shaft! Might even need a tune-up, they don't run too smooth on 7 cyl.

 

maby the cam was changed i got a high lift cam in my car and she shakes all the time.

 

Good motor and tranny mounts? If they are shot, that will shake the car.

 

If it's only when you step on the gas, bad spark plug or wire or cap.

 

mines got great mounts and such, but with that cam, she shakes like a ****
