TPI to Carb ?

Can i expect a powergain by converting from one set up to the other? if so, how prominent?

I was watching Monster Garage a few weeks ago, and they had an L98 Vette, they converted to carb, hotter cam and Nos and 8 pipes going strait up in the air (no hood, but wicked looking setup) and they got 650hp!

They mentioned a 60hp leap with carb alone, can i expect this with my own L98?

If it is your daily driver and you are worried about gas mileage stick with your efi. It all depends what you want to do with your car.

I believe the episode you are referring to was a 73-74 BBC vette that they made into a mud bog car.........I know its off topic. But, converting to a carb helped my L98 gain "about" 2 tenths....just by switching that alone. Just depends on what you want to do with the car. If you have the money and the car's going to be a daily driver, get a Holley for the track and an Edelbrock for the street......good luck.
