Bad air flow?

This might sound like a silly question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway.

Which would be better, a dual snorkel air intake, or a single snorkel air intake but with the ram air system on induction cowl bonnets?

Or, what about a system that did both? Now, if you had a set up that had both, would the air turbluence from the two air streams from the snorkel and the air coming down from the ram air system interfere to the point that it would cause more harm than good?

Air coming from one place is your best bet. But make sure you engine gets all the air it needs because if it doesnt youll want to add a second snorkel.

The stock LG4 single-snorkel, even if set up for "ram", is too restrictive for even an unmodified LG4. You need the 2nd snorkel.

And, "ram", isn't, really. "Cool air inlet" is closer to reality.

If I made a dual snorkel system by using a snorkel from another single snorkel system and attached it to my existing setup, would that be a good way to go? I could improve the air flow further by enlarging the inlets by cutting the snorkels close to the THERMAC valve and then run tubing to the front of the car.

Sound like a good idea?

I was also searching around for info about a ram air style air cleaner assembly and found this company that builds them in all different heights, styles and configurations. Don't know if they are still around since their price list is a few years out of date but still looks interesting. I am strongly considering buying one.

yes they are still around. super chevy had a review last year on the ram air box. they ran it on a BB nova and it got great results. they said it was worth every penny. they do make different setups to fit your application too
