Will my stock carb work on a 383?

Ok, I'm gonna be putting a 383 in my 86 z28. My question is, can I use the CC carb from the 305 thats in the car now on the 383? If so will it run decent or will it be ****ty? I'm running into some money problems and I'm just wondering how it will work out.

Also what are the specs for a stock cc carb, cfm and what not?

Thanks

Depends. If the AV is allowed to fully open ( https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/quadrajet.shtml "Increasing Airflow"), then it'll flow in the 750 CFM range.

What kind of intake manifold should I get if I do this?

Weiand Action + or GMPP q-jet EGR (same thing that comes on the ZZ4 crate engine).

If you gasket match the intake ports on the heads and intake manifold, either one should do you just fine.
