proform body vs. shaving choke off?

Just wondering if the proform 750 body will have any benefits vs. just grinding off the eletric choke on my 705 holley VS ?

Also, does anyone have a pic of a holley that they've ground off the choke on for smoother airflow, or should I just make it look like the holley HP series carbs?

Awhile back, somebody posted pics of their Dremelling of a choke tower. Looked fairly decent when he got done. I'll let you do the search.

In hindsight, I'm not sure I should have done the Proform. My times with the 650DP were mighty close to the 750 Proform times. I've since done other mods (higher stall, cool air inlet), and if I was really ****, I'd put the 650 body back in and, you know, see what happens.

I kinda miss the choke and ported vacuum source (well, I might get over the lack of ported vacuum source).

I'm really not sure I'd go through all this for a VS carb.
