Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Any compelling reason to do this change?
I have nothing against TPI, if that's what you've got. Typically, though, it makes more sense to run what you've got and make improvements to it. Going from an LG4 induction to TPI won't improve power, and will produce less power than an LB9. If you want your car to run better, concentrate in other areas: air cleaner, exhaust, cam, head porting. In that order. You might want to add ignition upgrades while you're at it.
