Which Fuel Line
HELP! I'm getting ready to buy a 650 DEMON w/ vacume secondaries and wasn't sure which fuel line to run with.
I can get a deal for a 6 AN or upgrade to 8 AN. Or I have a std crome summit brand at home as well.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not sure what the differences might be WRT performance.
BTW, if it matters I thing I am running a this Carter street pump flows 120 gph at 6psi. Would it make a difference if it were the 7-8 range? I'm pretty sure I got the smaller one, I'll have to double check. I'll let you know if otherwise.
Thanks,

DON'T DO IT!!!!
Get a mechanical secondary carb. You're not going to be using this vehicle for towing, are you?
I'm not sure if Demon and Holley lines interchange. Every Demon I've seen personally had a braded 6 AN line on it.
You shouldn't have any need for a 1/2" line.

No towing. My cam profile is like 236deg and I have a 2400 rpm (350 rated) torque convertor. At first barry grant said to use a mechanical secondary but now they say vacume secondary because the stall would probably be less than 3000 with the new 383.
Thanks,

You're just looking for the dual inlet fuel line at the carb, right? Holley ones arent interchangable. Demon carbs are slightly longer (might be able to bend one to fit, though). Summit sells a decent dual feed adjustable one that has a guage built into it for like $40-something that will work with both Holley or Demon BUT you need to buy adaptor fittings because the fittings on a Demon fuel bowl aren't the same as Holleys.
Russel also makes a decent looking dual inlet line:
