jets in cc q-jet
jets in cc q-jet
I'm assuming that the jets in a cc q-jet are removable, but is there a tool made to do this? They don't have the normal slot for a flat head screwdriver. Should they be removed when I'm cleaning everything out for a rebuild? Also, is there any reason to remove the accelarator pump lever from the airhorn before dipping it since the linkage to the lever can be undone and the airhorn removed with the lever still attached? The fulcrum looks more like a rivet than a pin and doesn't want to be driven out.

If you are refering to the secondaries hangar/metering rods, then this is the deal. That is a star bolt, which a regular allen key will also fit. Change the hangars and metering rods, stick back in and tighten the bolt up. Easy.

I usually just use a pair of large needlenose pliers or lineman's pliers to pop them out. Removing them does help to get all the schmutz out of the wells under them.
