braided fuel line adapter problems

braided fuel line adapter problems

i got a kit to run a braided fuel line from the fuel pump to the fuel rail for the carb. i have a holley fuel rail and pump. none of the adapters that i bought fit the fuel rail or pump. the fuel rail and pump are straight thread not flare. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem before

Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
sounds like you need some 3/8" NPT threaded fittings. not AN fittings. very easy to get adapters, under $5 a pop.

I just had a similar problem. For my setup, I needed at 3/8"NPT to -6AN adapter nipple for both ends (pump and q-jet).

the thread in the fuel rail is not npt. its just straight thread.

i was under the impression that the fuel rails all used NPT fittings that were 3/8" from holley. i have two in the garage like that. got a pic of it?

yeah i thought that all fuel rails are npt. oh well my dad made an adapter at his work. heres a pic of the fuel rail.
