who is running a Walbro 255 pump?
who is running a walbro255 pump with the stock fuel lines?
mostly i need to know for SURE if the stock return line is adaquate to keep the pressure at carb levels.
i want to run this pump since my carb setup is only temp, and i may run nitrous thru it later, and im eventually going into forced induction EFI...
i only want to replace the pump once...
i know its posted on here that it SHOULD work... i want to hear from someone whos actually done it. ( or if you know someone, could you give me their username or email?)

Your plans sound similar to mine, which is why I chose this pump.
I'm running one. Unfortunately I haven't been able to really try it out much because I have other issues to tweak, but the return lines are definitely able to hold the pressure constant as low as 4 psi through a variety of RPM ranges. For some reason, the pressure seemed to be steadier when I bypassed the fuel pump, but I think that may have something to do with the fact that the oil pressure shutoff kept kicking on, but I'm not sure. I also had a batch of bad gas which probably caused some problems for me.
Oh, yeah, I'm running a Mallory 3-port regulator to a Holley 3310. I ended up using a F*rd EFI filter inline after the pump in the stock location. I had an inline pump there that didn't seem to work very well.
So to answer your question, yes. The stock return line seems to work just fine.
