91 w/ Carb Question
I just bought a 91 Firebird 5.0 w/ a carb and i have two questions. First, when i have started it after driving, it cranks slowly and seems like the battery is dead, but then it suddenly starts. Is this a carburator thing? Also the car seems to shift too soon at WOT, especially as speed increases. Thanks

your timing is too far ahead thats why it starts slow.try pulling the distrubter counterclockwise just a hair at a time untill it gets better
