The throttle position sensor on my qjet has apparently went south. Its been running like crap for a couple of weeks. I was getting ready to pull the carb off and rebuild it, then I unplugged the sensor and the idle smoothed up and it runs almost like it should. All the hesitation and surging is gone. I can now pull out before its fully warm and it won't try and die out. Does anyone know what happens if this plug is left off the sensor? My check engine light has not come on or anything. By the way, its an 85 Iroc with the 5.0 HO, 5 speed combo.
