What carb to use?
My engine setup is down in my sig, and right now i believe im running a Holley 600 sec. vac., and im curious if this carb is going to be restricting power. Would a 750 be a better choice? Any input would help, im not much of a carb guy, so i dont really know which types of carbs are used in certain power apps. Thanks!

CFM required for max power = (CID x max RPM)/3456. That's the most the engine can use.
In reality, it will only use as much air as it is efficient. That factor could be as low as .85, with a really maxed out package it might approach 1.0.
Most likely it isn't hurting you. But, most people go faster with a bigger carb - up to the point where it bogs out on them.

That equation is also for steady flow. Actual airflow is in pulses due to the opening and closing of the valves. The effect is more prominent with dual-plane intakes.
