automatic vs manual qjet?
Hello.
I`m going to buy a used rochester q-jet, that comes from a 1986 LG4 camaro, with manual transmission. Going to rebuilt the rochester. My car has a automatic gearbox. Is there any difference in the linkage or carburetor between a car with automatic or manual gearbox?

Engine: 300 I6 stump pullin sumbiscuit
Transmission: 4 speed grind box
Axle/Gears: 3.55 unlimited slip differential
the only differences will be the fact that your car has a TV cable (Throttle Valve) to regulate line pressure for the tranny (helps control shifts). that should be it. the part on the carb to hook up the TV cable should still be on there...
