leaky carb

First off, my setup is an LG69 w/edelbrock performer intake, MSD Distributor set at 10*, 700r-4 w/ b&m shift kit, and a holley 600 w/ e-choke. I've been running the Holley for about six months now, and about two days ago I noticed that my carb was leaking fuel. It looks like it's leaking around the block-off plate on what would be the secondary fuel bowl fuel inlet(if that makes sense). My question is: how would be the best way to seal the leak? I was thinking about using some JB Weld and just perminantly sealing it off since i'll never need it. What do you guys think I should do? Any reply is appreciated.

sounds like the o-ring needs to be replaced or maybe its just out of place. I would carefully take it apart and check where that o-ring is at. If I'm wrong then I didnt understand you but it just sounds like you need a new o-ring or gasket somewhere, nothing to complicated.
