Best Holley kit for calibrating 0-80508S Holley carb?
Can anybody recommend good calibrating kit for 0-80508S Holley carb (VS, 750cfm, model 4160). Holley has many different kits, but none of them doesn't include (in my opinion) all parts that are recommended by carb tuners (jets, PV-s, acc pump cams etc).
So help me to decide, which Holley kit is good starting point for calibrating that carb? Thanks
edit: my engine has AFR 190 heads, 224/230 hydr roller cam, 1 5/8" headers etc

1st thing I'd do (no, wait, the first thing I did do) is convert it to 4150. This allows you to change the jets in the secondaries.
Next, get the 64-99 jet assortment kit. It will have jets you'll never use, but it will have all the jets you'll likely use.
Finally, determine the proper power valve by the method suggested on Holley's tech site http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/TechSer...o/TI-222A.html . Don't stop reading at the first paragraph, because the 2nd may just be where the truth is for you. After determining which PV you need, if it isn't what's in there now, get the right one. That shouldn't need to change until you make a major change in the engine.
