stumbling
Hey everyone, i'll try to explain this the best I can. When I make a slow turn (not sharp) onto another street, and I am still giving it a little gas, it seems to cut off or something, as it won't accelerate and kind of stumbles for a short amount of time until i'm done with the turn. I'm thinking it has something to do with the carb. Any ideas? Oh yeah, it's a stock CC Q-jet in my 84 T/A automatic tranny.

Fuel is sloshing away from the main jet. Check the float level.

How old is your fuel pump/pressure regurator?
If the regulator built into the bottom of the fuel pump is weak, the carb will not have enough fuel (low fuel pressure).
Test the pressure first, if it is OK then adj the float level.

I'm with five7 on this one. Sounds more like a float issue. If it were pump related, it would be more of an "anytime I get on the gas" issue.

Five7 probably has it but while you're there you may want to replace the float. They can soak and loose buoyancy over time causing problems and are cheap to replace anyway.
