Intake Manifold Gaskets

Hey guys I am going to be getting the 7104 Edelbrock RPM manifold pretty soon.
What is the difference between Felpro Intake Manifold Gaskets and Felpro Performance Intake Manifold Gasket Sets?

One is blue paper coated one is black embossed. Call a few parts stores and ask them for Engine Seal brand gaskets, they have a rubber coating that seal better then any expensive gasket Ive ever used.

i have never liked those china wall gaskets that go on the front and back of the intake. i like to make a pyramid 2 layers then one on top. it makes a good seal and wont blow out as easily as the china walls.

I've used the Fel-Pro 1204 and cheapy Mr. Gasket intake gaskets that have the silicone around the intake ports with great results. Throw away those junk rubber front/rear gaskets and use black RTV and you'll never ever have a intake leak in those locations.

Currently running Fel-Pro 1205 since these heads needed a little larger intake port opening. I have always put a light coat of black RTV around the water passages on the head, installed the gaskets onto the head, put a little more black RTV over top of the intake gasket where the water hole are-making a gasket sandwich then applied a generious amount of black RTV on the front/back parts of the block. I've never had a leak to date weather it be water or vaccum.
