Charcoal canistor?
Im changing to a carb. I live in an area where emisions and not checked. I already have no cat. I plan on removing the air pump and thinking about the charcoal canistor. I dont think it even works but i was going toss the electrical part and just hook it from the tank and to the carb. Or just yank it and hook up a breather system by the tank. will there be fumes no matter what if i remove the canistor?

I know what you mean....depending on what type of intake/carb combo you're running. "Keeping the canister" really isn't an option.
I know on my car, it isn't hooked up to anything because there isn't anywhere to connect it. I no longer have TVS vacuum towers to support it, so now it's just taking up space.
I know I've seen other posts about just hooking up some type of breather to the tank vent line....
